You'll receive your payment directly into your bank account. To avoid any delays or issues, be sure to add your bank account type (Checking or Savings), bank account number, routing number, date of birth, and valid ID.
Add your banking details
- Log in to your Back Market account > "Trade-ins" > "Add payment details" > "Banking information"
- Select your bank account type (Checking or Savings)
- Enter your bank account number and routing number
- Select "Save"
Add your date of birth
- Go to your Back Market account > "Trade-ins" > "Add payment details" > "Personal information".
- Enter your date of birth and select "Save".
Add your ID
- Go to your Back Market account > "Trade-ins" > "Add payment details".
- Upload a valid ID.
Add your SSN (if required)
To meet US tax reporting rules, we may ask for your 9-digit Social Security Number (SSN) so we can properly report 1099-K taxes in the US.
How to add it (if you’re required to provide your SSN):
- When needed, we'll guide you through a secure flow to submit your SSN. Just follow the instructions to enter all 9 digits to confirm
We use this information only for tax reporting and store it securely. If SSN is required and not provided, payouts may be paused until verification is complete. Once verified, payouts typically arrive within 6 business days.
