You must be currently enrolled in courses that earn credits toward a diploma, degree, or professional license anywhere in the world except in Asia.

What do I need to provide to be verified?
As you fill out the SheerID verification form, you’ll need to share more about how you qualify.
You’ll need to submit a school-issued document, such as:
- School ID card with an expiration date
- Class schedule
- Tuition receipt
- Certificate of enrollment
This document must show:
- First and last name
- School name
- Date(s) of enrollment that confirm current student status
Note that any documents sent to SheerID will be permanently deleted. Feel free to cover up any sensitive information that’s unrelated to proving your eligibility.

How do I get my student promo code?
Step 1. Create a Back Market account by entering your email
Step 2. Fill out the SheerID form linked on our student discount page
You’ll receive your $20 promo code in an email from SheerID (verify@sheerid.com). Keep in mind that the verification process may take up to 12 hours.
How do I use my promo code?
During checkout, you’ll see a field to enter the promo code on the payment page. Copy and paste your code into this field. Select “Check this code” and you’re good to go!
I’m getting an error during the submission process — what can I do?
Sometimes SheerID is unable to verify you using the information submitted, or your email address has already been used for verification. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer.

If your document is rejected, the email from SheerID will explain what was wrong. Send a different document here

What are the conditions for using the promo code?
This promo code will give you a $20 reduction on your purchase. The offer is valid once a year, for any purchase of $250 or more. It can be used for any item offered on our website and app, as long as the purchase minimum is met.
The code will be valid for 1 year from the date you receive it. Please note that it’s non-transferable and only valid for the person who received it.

Unfortunately, codes can’t be retroactively used for an order that you’ve already placed. Keep it safe and use it another time.
