Once your claim is approved, the Protection Plan provider will walk you through the process of getting your device repaired, either at one of their partner repair shops or by mail (shipping label included).
For Protection Plans purchased after April 29, 2024, you also have the option of getting your item repaired at any other certified repair shop. Just note that you’ll pay for the service up-front, then get reimbursed by the partner by providing an invoice for the repair costs.
If your device can’t be repaired, the Protection Plan provider will reimburse you the price you paid for the device, minus sales tax and the service fee. Learn more about service fee costs
