Back Market offers multiple optional protection plans with different coverages, contract periods, and payment plans depending on the device you're purchasing it for. You can select the one that's right for you during checkout.
- Accidental Damage plans include extended warranty coverage for accidents like drops, cracked screens, and water damage during the offer period.
- Extended Warranty plans extend the device warranty by 12 months and cover any malfunctions that occur during the second year.
With these plans, you're eligible for two repairs per plan or reimbursement by bank transfer. If repair isn’t possible, you'll be refunded (the amount of the price of the device purchased, excluding tax) by direct deposit.
The Protection Plan doesn't cover theft and loss or cosmetic or intentional damage to your device.
Note that there's a service fee for smartphone claims. You can pay it with a valid credit or debit card before service or be reimbursed. The fee amount will be based on the phone's purchase price and whether the phone has to be repaired or replaced. Tablets, laptops, and other items don't have service fees.
