Short answer — probably. It depends on the type of item you’re trading in.
Device type | Accessories that must be sent with the device |
Smartphones & tablets | None |
Headphones & earphones | Audio cables, charger, or charging case |
Gaming consoles | Charger and cables (mandatory). Include the same number of controllers you listed during the assessment. |
MacBooks | None |
Items sent without the accessories listed above may result in a counteroffer from the refurbisher. However, refurbishers can’t send counteroffers in the following situations:
- Accessories are missing that are not listed as mandatory above.
- Functional accessories with a "Used", "Good", or "Flawless" appearance are included.
Please note that any accessories you send to the refurbisher (mandatory or not) will be sent back to you if the seller ends up returning your device to you for any reason. For example, if you declined a counteroffer.
You’re not required to send your device with its original box, though in some cases the refurbisher might request you to send it if you have it.
