How do I know if my payment has been sent?

Set up your payment
To get your trade-in payment to you quickly and securely, confirm this info is saved in your account:
- Bank account number
- Routing number
- Bank account type (Checking or Savings)
Check your personal details. Make sure your date of birth in your Back Market account matches the birthdate on your ID. If you're not 18 yet, you'll need a parent or legal guardian to help you make the sale.
Check your name. For security, the first and last name on your ID and Back Market account must match. If they're different, edit your Back Market account profile.
For the safety of our customers and refurbishers, we have different layers of verification and security before sending out payments. This is why it can take up to 6 business days for funds to appear in your bank account.
How do I know if my payment has been sent?
Log in to your Back Market account > "Trade-ins". If "Payment sent" appears, it means the refurbisher initiated the payment on the date indicated.
If you don't see "Payment sent" and feel it should have been there already, contact the refurbisher again.
The deposit will say "Back Market Trade-in".
If after 6 business days your order shows "Payment sent" but nothing appears in your bank account, contact us and we'll get back to you within 1 business day.
Why haven’t I received a payment confirmation?
You might not have received a payment confirmation because the refurbisher hasn't confirmed that your item was accepted yet.
Log in to your Back Market account > "Trade-ins". You'll see any messages about issues from the refurbisher. If it's been more than 2 business days since the refurbisher received your item, you can send them a message via "Trade-ins."
