What is the AI Agent?
AI Agent is Back Market's automated customer support assistant powered by artificial intelligence. It's designed to help you quickly find answers to common shopping questions such as:
- Product information and specifications
- Comparison between similar products
- Pre-sales support
- General questions about Back Market services and policies
How does the AI Agent work?
The Back Market Support’s AI Agent searches through Back Market's knowledge base, product pages and supports documentation to provide instant responses to your questions. It uses natural language processing to understand your inquiry and deliver relevant information.
Is the AI Agent always accurate?
The AI Agent is currently in the learning phase and continuously improving. While we strive for accuracy, responses may occasionally be incomplete or contain errors. We recommend verifying critical information with our customer service team.
The AI Agent may not (yet) be able to answer certain questions. If the AI Agent is unable to provide a satisfactory answer, you can always contact our customer service team by asking the AI Agent to be in contact with a human. They'll be happy to provide personalized assistance.
What should I NOT use the AI Agent for?
Please do not use the AI Agent for:

Conversations with the AI Agent are treated with the same privacy standards as all Back Market customer interactions and in accordance with Back Market Privacy Policy.
We use this data to improve our service and train the AI Agent to better assist you.
Will the AI Agent replace human support agents?
No. The AI Agent is designed to complement our customer service team by handling shopping related routine questions quickly, allowing our human agents to focus on complex issues that require personal attention and expertise.
