Together, we’re empowering you to extend the life of your devices and help build a more sustainable future.
How do I know if my device needs maintenance or repair?
If your device is showing signs such as rapid battery drain, frequent app crashes, overheating, camera malfunctions, or physical damage, it might be time for a repair. Make sure your device is still under warranty or covered by insurance.
Does self-repair void my warranty or my insurance?
If you repair your device while it’s still covered by the seller warranty, the seller may claim that the repair voids the warranty. So it’s very important that you check your warranty carefully before attempting anything.
If you have a protection plan for a device purchased on Back Market, the above is also true. If you have an active Protection Plan, you should file a claim to resolve your issue before attempting any third-party repair or self-repair. Check your Protection Plan info in your Back Market account
Are the kits and spare parts made out of refurbished materials or are they new?
The kits and parts are new, but they are made of recycled materials. You can use them to keep your refurbished device repaired, clean, and working properly.
Are there any guides on how to repair my device?
When you order a kit or part to repair your device yourself, we’ll send you a guide by email to help you through each step. See all available guides here
