Solutions to try
Force restart
- Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
- Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
- Press and hold the Power button until the Apple logo appears.
Charge it
Plug your iPhone into a charger for at least 15-30 minutes, then try turning it on or force restarting it again.
Let it cool down
If your iPhone is hot, let it cool down before turning it back on.
Update it
Go to “Settings” > “General” > “Software Update” to install the latest iOS version.
Reset all settings
Go to “Settings” > “General” > “Reset” > “Reset All Settings”.
Check for water damage
Look inside the SIM card tray for a red “Liquid Contact Indicator” (LCI). If it's red, your iPhone has water damage and needs repair.
Try Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) mode or Full Erase
Connect your iPhone to a computer, open iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later), and follow the steps for DFU mode to restore your iPhone. Get help from Back Market, if needed.
