macOS 15 Sequoia compatibility
The following Mac computers are compatible with macOS 15 Sequoia, which will be released in fall 2024:
- iMac: 2019 and later
- Mac Pro: 2019 and later
- iMac Pro: 2017
- Mac Studio: 2022 and later
- MacBook Air: 2020 and later
- Mac mini: 2018 and later
- MacBook Pro: 2018 and later
However, the Apple Intelligence features in macOS 15 Sequoia will be limited to Apple silicon Macs:
- iMac: 2021 and later
- Mac Pro: 2023
- Mac Studio: 2022 and later
- MacBook Air: Late 2020 and later
- Mac mini: Late 2020 and later
- MacBook Pro: Late 2020 and later
macOS 14 Sonoma compatibility
The following Mac computers are compatible with macOS 14 Sonoma, which was released on September 26, 2023:

- Mac Pro: 2019 and later
- iMac Pro: 2017
- Mac Studio: 2022 and later

Note that the Mseries Macs will not run Catalina or earlier.
