Access Point Name (APN) settings are what your phone uses to connect to your carrier’s mobile network and the internet. They define the network path for all cellular data connectivity. Some carriers require you to enter APN settings to set up your service.
These settings are usually added automatically, but if you need to set them manually, use the UK carrier guides below.
Not all carriers allow users to manually change APN settings. Only edit your APN if your carrier advises you to do so. Contact your carrier to verify the correct settings.
You can view your APN settings in one of the following locations:
- For Samsung: "Settings" > "Connections" > "Mobile networks" > "Access Point Names".
- For Pixel: "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "Mobile network" > "Advanced" > "Access Point Names".
