Short answer: probably. It really depends on the type of item you’re trading in.
Device type | Accessories that must be sent with the device |
Smartphones & tablets | You don’t need to include accessories (e.g. charger, cable, headphones, or SIM card) |
Headphones and earphones | Audio cables, charger, or charging case |
Gaming consoles | Charger and cables are mandatory. Please include the same number of controllers you listed during the assessment of your item. |
MacBook | You don’t need to include accessories (e.g. charger, cable, mouse, etc.) |
Please note: Items sent without the accessories listed above may receive a counteroffer with an updated price.
However, refurbishers can’t send counteroffers in the following situations:
- Missing accessories that are not mandatory (i.e. listed above)
- Accessories that are functional and have a "Used", "Good", or "Flawless" appearance
Please note that any accessories you send to the refurbisher (mandatory or not) will be sent back to you with the item in the case of a return.
You’re not required to send your device with its original box, though in some cases the refurbisher might request you to send it if you have it.
