Do devices from other countries come with a different warranty?
Not at all. All devices sold on Back Market are covered by the same legal guarantees and sellers’ commercial warranty.
What about UKCA CE marking?
Back Market requires that all sellers meet the safety standards required for UKCA marking or CE marking if applicable. Sellers have confirmed that the devices they sell on Back Market are compliant with these standards.
If you don’t see the CE or UKCA logo on the back of your device, you can usually find it in the Settings menu and/or on the packaging.

What if my device has different features?
Devices from outside Europe might have minor differences compared to UK models. But rest assured, they shall still meet all regulatory requirements and Back Market’s quality standards. Most importantly, they must be fully compatible with UK networks and 100% safe to use.
For example, FaceTime Audio may not be available on iPhones from certain regions, but FaceTime video is fully available. If you’re specifically looking for voice calls, the device will still support free apps like WhatsApp, Signal, and others.
