How to find the most popular devices on Back Market
I need help finding something
We’ve got thousands of items on Back Market, and we understand how hard it can be to find “the one.”
But don’t worry — we already do a lot of sorting. When you’re looking at an item, we’ve curated several picks for you.
You can find those by selecting “Lowest price” and “Most popular” on the product details page. If you want to buy an item based on its condition rating instead, rest assured that we’re showing you the best of the best — meaning a combination of the lowest price and best seller ratings for each condition category.
At Back Market, we're doing our absolute best to simplify the experience of shopping for a refurbished device.

Decide based on what the device will be used for
Not all devices are created equal, and everyone has different needs. So if you need help finding the right item, think about what you'll be using it for.
If you need something mostly for streaming video or music, consider a tablet like an iPad or Galaxy Tab.
If you need a school computer for your kid — a MacBook Pro or Thinkpad X1 is probably too much. With their sticky fingers, you're better off buying a Chromebook or an older, more budget-friendly computer — it's all they need.
If you're a student or business professional who reads a lot, writes a ton, or programs in Python — something like a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Thinkpad, Dell XPS, or Inspiron will be good for you.
If you're a designer who needs something that can handle massive renderings or a videographer who works with large, raw video files — your best bet is to get something that has a powerful processor (at least 8 cores in a processor is a good rule-of-thumb). Intel's i7 or i9, or AMD's Ryze7 Pro would be good processors for you.
If you’re set on getting Apple, a MacBook Pro (no older than 2017) will be sufficient. If you want Windows, a gaming laptop or computer will be perfect — they're super powerful, have excellent ventilation, handle multitasking like it's nothing, and can manage huge workloads.
While these are the most common needs among customers, there are plenty of buying guides floating around on the Internet. Give it a quick search, and figure out what’s right for you.
