Once your package has been packed up by our sellers, it is sent to the carrier who ships it to your home. 🚁
Our sellers prepare your packages carefully, but despite all their efforts, sometimes packages become damaged during transport.
This is why we suggest checking the following before your delivery person takes off: 🚲
1. Condition of the package ✨
Check if the package is damaged or looks abnormal. We suggest taking pictures of your item at each step of the opening process. (Hopefully they'll go your scrapbook, but they're super important to have in case anything goes awry.)
2. Status of the product ✅
Check to see if the product is broken, scratched, damaged, not in accordance with the grade you ordered, or incomplete in any way.
If so, write on the delivery note the problems you encountered during inspection and/or refuse the goods.
Notify the merchant as soon as possible via your Back Market customer account if:
- The product is defective or broken
- The product is not as ordered
- The product is incomplete
The written notification of any damage allows the seller to open an investigation with their carrier. 👮♂️
