You have 15 days from the day that you accept a price offer to ship your device to the refurbisher.
You have until the 15th day to get your device to a USPS post office or drop-off location and have the package scanned into the USPS system.
Pro tip: If you decide to drop off your package, doing so before 8 AM on a USPS business day can help ensure that it gets mailed out to the refurbisher the same day.
Example:
If you know that you won’t be able to send your item within the 15-day period, ask the refurbisher for an extension (before the 15 days are up, of course). The refurbisher can agree to an extension for either the same price offer or for an adjusted one.
You also have the option to do the assessment again to get another price offer. Price offers expire automatically if you don’t mail the item within 15 days.
How can I see how many days I have to ship my device?
- Log in to your Back Market account
- Select “My BuyBack sales”
- Check the date you accepted the price offer from the refurbisher and add 15 days
If you miss the 15-day shipping window, the refurbisher has the right to adjust the price offer. You’re free to accept or reject any offer, and can always do the assessment again to get another price offer.
