This warranty automatically comes with the purchase of any device on Back Market. It covers all defects for hardware and software — and it’s just one of the many ways we've got your back! The seller will repair or offer a replacement for a defective device, and you’re eligible for a refund if the seller can NOT repair or replace it.
The 1-year warranty does NOT cover cracked screens and other damage that occur after delivery. If you think that your device was damaged during the delivery process, you must report it to the seller within 3 days of the delivery.
- VERY IMPORTANT: The moment your device becomes defective, you MUST communicate ALL of the issues you’re experiencing to the seller.
If you don't report all of the defects to the seller, the seller can reject your defect claim, and they’re not obligated to repair or replace your defective device.

Protection plan coverage
Back Market offers added protection through Asurion. This 2-year protection plan extends the original warranty for an additional year and also covers accidental damage from drops, spills, and cracked screens for portable products during normal use.
