To keep your monthly subscription active, your payment method must remain valid.

How can I update the payment method for my monthly protection plan? (including after a missed payment)
You can update the payment method for any active monthly protection plan subscription at any time.
If you missed a payment, your coverage may be suspended. You will receive an email from Back Market notifying you of the failed payment, you can either click the link in that email or follow the steps below directly from your account to update your payment method and restore your coverage.
To update your payment method:
- Log in to your Back Market account
- Navigate to My Account > Protection Plans
- Find the monthly subscription you want to update
- Click Update payment method next to that subscription
- Enter or select your new payment method and confirm
Your updated payment method will be used for all future billing cycles. If you had a missed payment, you will be able to pay the outstanding balance at the same step.
Can I delete a payment method that is linked to an active monthly protection plan?
No, you cannot delete a payment method that is currently associated with an active monthly protection plan subscription. To remove that payment method, you must first update the subscription to use a different payment method (see steps above), after which the original payment method can be deleted.
