Delete a payment method linked to the monthly protection plan
Update your payment method
You can update your payment method at any time, even after a failed payment.
If you missed a payment, your coverage may be paused. We'll send you an email with a link to update your payment and restore your coverage. Or you can update it directly from your account.
To update your payment method:
- Log in to your Back Market account
- Go to "Orders" > "Protection Plans"
- Find the subscription you want to update
- Select "Update payment method"
- Enter or select your new payment method and confirm
Your updated payment method will be used for all future billing. If you have an outstanding balance, you can pay it during this step.
Delete a payment method linked to the monthly protection plan
You can't delete a payment method that's linked to an active subscription. First, update your subscription to use a different payment method (see steps above). Then you can delete the original payment method.
