What is the IMEI number?
The IMEI is a number that uniquely identifies a mobile device. The IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity and consists of 15 to 17 digits.
In short, this number is the identity card for the phone. It is thanks to this number that the phone operator authorises the access of a device to its network.
The easiest way to find it is on your Back Market invoice, which you may have in your purchase confirmation email, or as the hardcopy sent to you with your device. It is also available online by signing in to your Back Market account. Otherwise, check out this guide for other ways to find your IMEI number 😊.
