I don't know the model of the item I want to trade in. What can I do?

Verify the model of your iPhone/iPad device

Look for the model name (e.g., "iPhone 13 Pro") and model number (e.g., "A2483"):

  • Look on the backside of the device.

  • Go to "Settings" > "General" > "About".

Verify the model of your non-Apple device

Look for the model name and model number:

  • Go to "Settings" > "About the device".

  • Look on the backside of the device or under the battery cover.

  • Look at the original box (if you still have it).

Find the specs of your gaming console

Look for the model number and serial number:

  • On the sides of the console

  • In the console’s settings

  • On the original receipt

Verify the model of your MacBook

From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose “About This Mac”. Then you’ll see the model name (e.g., "MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2020") and serial number.

Once you have the model name, model number, or serial number, look them up in a search engine to get all the nitty-gritty details (storage, memory size, processor, etc.).
